– Monitoring the implementation of projects achieving national geological mapping, in conjunction with governments and specialized agencies;
\n– Participation in the studies of natural hazards of geological origin;
\n– Participation in the management of natural disasters of geological origin;
\n– Monitoring survey maps of natural hazards of geological origin, in conjunction with governments and specialized agencies;
\n– The development and updating ‘the national map of natural hazards of geological origin;
\n– The issue of notice and due notice to the geological construction of works and site development;
\n-The definition and implementation of strategies and actions for the prevention of natural hazards, in conjunction with the authorities concerned;
\n-Surveys, establishment and publication of geological, hydrogeological and geothermal maps, in conjunction with governments and agencies concerned;
\n– Surveys, establishment and publication of mining indices and thematic maps, in conjunction with governments and agencies concerned;<\/p>\n
It includes:
\n– The Geological Mapping Service;
\n– Natural Hazards Services.<\/p>\n
